Treatment of our kids and teachers at the Crèche (Miracle Eden Baby Care Centre) based in Purchase Place

Dear Ithemba Management,

I thought I should bring this to your attention.

Our Childrens attend to the creche based at Purchase Place(Miracle Eden Baby Care Centre). We have received complains of the treatment our Childrens received from the creche and the treatment teachers receive from their superiors.

Firstly:

- My daughter she's 2 year 4 months now and the class she's in there are +/- 33 Childrens and what we received is that they don't receive proper meal. In the morning they give 2 plates of soft porridge to share. You can't give 2 plates of soft porridge to +/- 33 Childrens to share. During the day they only eat some pap and some soup. My question is, what are we paying for? I pay R550 for my daughter because am the Ithemba tenant but the actually school fees is R 600 for someone who's not under Ithemba and around the age of my daughter.

Secondly:

- We heard that the teachers are being abused by their superiors, one teacher slap another teacher and only to find that the teacher that slap the other is related to the owner of the creche. To me that doesn't sit well because from my experience an unhappy employee is a bitter and angry employee and is the last thing we want from the teachers. Because they will end up taking out their anger and bitterness to our Childrens.

Lastly:

I would like for Ithemba to intevine in this before it's too late. That building belongs to Ithemba and we are tenants to Ithemba. Well being of our childrens comes first. If they are not thought what they are suppose to thought at their age by so called professional teachers they won't learn anything.

**NB - Some lady by the name of Veronica is the one who treat this teachers badly according to the source and I think the reason being is that she doesn't care as she's related to the owner of the creche and she knows very well that nothing can be done to her.

Lately my daughter would cry when i drop her by the creche, i don't know what maybe the root cause of that. A meeting can be organize for us to meet with all stakeholders to raise our issues as parents and come up with some resolution.

Pretty please Ithemba Management please intervine in this before is too late.
