THE ONYX IS THE WORST BUILDING IVE EVER LIVED IN. From the other reviews it seems like ithemba as a whole is a NO GO

Worst service I’ve ever come across. Management does not care at all about their tenants. Had told management how I had lost my job, was late on rent and now I’m locked in the building like I’m in prison. They deactivated my fingerprint and they had cut of my electricity. I’m denied basic human needs like going to buy food. They denying me my freedom. THEY WONT LET ME OUT THE ONYX BUILDING and this is after they had agreed to give me till the 28th to move out and to pay what’s due since this is the last month for my lease to end. I’ve already missed 2 interviews because of this. The security guards are told to not let anyone out who doesn’t have a fingerprint. I’ve emailed to get my fingerprint to be reactivated with no help. Ithemba deactivating my fingerprint and not letting me out is ******** of rules and regulations of the contract signed by both lease / lessor. According to the Magistrate Court and Rental Housing Tribunal locking in/out a tenant is against the law.
