Tenant Visitors pay for Parking R100 per 24hrs!!

5 months in and I find myself here again to express how much of a terrible place Barlow Park is.

Parking: as a resident who pays for rent and amenities, your visitors still need to pay for parking using the parking tariff. They charge R100 per 24hrs , so if you have a visitor for the weekend they are going to pay around R300. How is this not insane!!?

Apartment finishing: everything is cheap! The floor (it permanently looks dry even after cleaning and polishing), walls- by virtue of you existing there they get dirty. The Stove- funky smell. The sinks, the metal used stains in a way Ive never seen taps stain before- a drop of water and its fuzzy- no shine. Walls are thin! The ceiling is not painted it looks like an underground parking (only the 7th floor is painted). Hopefully they will share tips and tricks on maintaining all this like they did with the stove because the material used is flimsy.

Noise: basically its University res. - if you are working class and like peace , adult mature vibes. You will suffer, opposite of that. There is a large number of young people/students.

I will not dwell on the gym- don't cancel your membership in the hopes theirs will be a replacement.
