Power Outage Nightmare
Ithemba ,The Diamond Building, Jewel City
I am utterly disgusted by the power outages issue now, Initially it would be a month end issue, We get power outages every second day now and for more than 24 hours, Kanjani because we pay rent and buy electricity.
December 2023 we had a power outage for an entire week. My stuff in the fridge got spoilt, R1500 worth of stuff down the drain. Imagine !!!!
No matter how beautiful this place may look from the outside, save yourself the trouble , DO NOT COME HERE, I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone, I was happy when moving in but I truly regret ever coming here, also considering the amount of Rent I pay. This place is just ****ty shem.
And save your "sincere apologies" replies. Just fix the electricity I pay for with my hard earned money.

I can name a few buildings in the vicinity that are under City Power but they do not experience this nonsense of power outages . You cannot convince me that you are doing everything in your power to rectify this, Its been since 6 months living at the Diamond and the power outages happen every month without fail and now its getting worse, We go without electricity for 24 hours + every second day now. It keeps getting worse yet you say you are " doing everything within your capacity" . May you kindly Provide the proof of what you have done in the last 6 months to mitigate this power outage situation, Let us tenants be the judge of that " You have done everything" . You really are taking us for granted, ngeke phela.

Why are you having problems with City Power in the first place ? I can name a few buildings in the vicinity that are under City Power but they do not experience this nonsense of power outages . I cannot be taking cold showers in the morning and wearing wrinkled clothes to work but I pay rent every month and buy electricity, Nisiqhela ***ubi ngoku.
