Poor Management and Unacceptable Living Conditions at Rosecrest
My experience with Ithemba management has been extremely disappointing. The buildings are poorly maintained, cleanliness standards have deteriorated badly, and repeated concerns raised by tenants are ignored. Dustbins overflow and smell, common areas are not cleaned regularly, and food is left on the ground for days, creating serious health hazards.
Despite tenants paying rent every month without fail, management shows little to no accountability. On the first of every month, tenants are locked out of the premises over payment issues, yet basic services such as cleaning, security, and building oversight are neglected. This approach feels punitive rather than professional.
What is most concerning is the apparent lack of involvement or concern from the property owners regarding the poor management of their buildings. With a building manager residing on the premises, it is difficult to understand how these issues go unnoticed or unresolved.
Tenants deserve respect, safe living conditions, and responsive management. Unfortunately, Ithemba has failed to meet these basic expectations, and the overall service delivery is unacceptable. Rosecrest building

Please be advised that the issues raised have been escalated to building management for further attention. We currently have a dedicated team responsible for ensuring that dustbins are regularly cleared and cleaned, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of all floors within the building.
Should you notice any areas where floors are not clean or dustbins are not maintained to the required standard, we kindly request that you report this directly to your building manager. This will allow the matter to be addressed promptly by the relevant parties.
In addition, please note that should a unit be locked out without a termination of lease having been submitted by the landlord, tenants are encouraged to report this immediately so that the matter can be investigated and resolved accordingly.
At present, we have not received any reports of garbage being left unattended on the floors for extended periods. However, should such reports arise, we will ensure that they are attended to without delay.
We appreciate you raising these matters with us once again and would like to assure you that we will be monitoring your building more closely, including conducting more frequent floor inspections.
