Paid Up Account Still Showing Outstanding
I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Ithemba Properties. I settled my outstanding balance of R2,400 in full and received a Paid Up Letter confirming that my account is cleared. Despite this, When I check my record, it still shows that I owe money — which is completely incorrect and damaging to my name.
I have emailed Ithemba Properties multiple times, attaching all required documents including the Paid Up Letter and my personal details, yet I have received no response and no resolution. It is unacceptable for customers to be ignored and for incorrect information to continue being reported even after proof of payment is provided.
This situation is causing unnecessary stress and reputational harm. I am requesting an urgent written confirmation that my account is fully settled and that my record is updated immediately across all platforms.
Your failure to respond and assist consumers reflects poorly on the company. I expect timely communication and prompt correction of this issue. Siyanda Khumalo Ref No. ***9 3593

To my shock, when I checked ClearScore, it now shows 5 missed payments against my name — despite the fact that I have fully settled the account.
I included my ID number as the password for the Paid Up Letter, yet your team rep**** a week later asking for it again — proving no one actually read my email properly. I provided the ID again, and still nothing has been corrected.
This is unacceptable and damaging to my credit score. I have fulfilled all my obligations, and your delays and lack of attention are putting me at a disadvantage.
I demand that this error be corrected immediately and that confirmation of the update be sent to me without further delay.
If this is not fixed, I will escalate this matter to the National Credit Regulator and other relevant authorities.
