Never Stay at Ithemba Property buildings- they will hand you over to their lawyers for something you did not do

I am so disappointed with Ithemba Property. I rented their property from the 1st of March 2020 and moved out from the property to a house that I bought myself. I had to cancel the lease agreement of 12 months and had to pay 20% of the remaining months which I understood and agreed to the terms. The manager advised for me to sign an AOD agreement which I did on the 26th September 2020, the agreement stipulated that I would have an arrangement to pay the balance in 6 months and gave the agreement to the building manager. Ithemba handed me over to their lawyers saying that I do not want to pay the balance and I then had to explain to their lawyers that I signed the AOD and in fact Ithemba had now debited from my account which was acknowledging my agreement. The lawyers nagged me every month even if Ithemba property was debiting from my account. I then took it to myself to fully pay the due amount before time in November 2020 and Ithemba property still debited from my account in December 2020 and January 2021. which was an over payment. I requested a refund cause the amount was settled in 30 November 2020 and they paid me back in February 2021. with all this being said their lawyers still want me to pay them the charges of being handled over and they do not want to understand that the account was not even supposed to be handed over. what a disgrace it is to have stayed in the Ithemba property building. during Covid 19 Lockdown the Hoofd Mansion building was a mess and I still paid my bills in time and never missed a payment for them to treat me this bad, I would never recommend anyone to stay in their buildings.
