My life is hell living in Ithemba Property

Ithemba made my life a living hell. When the they bought over Nylyn Court our life became serious hell. The rent went up within a month of their ownership changes were enforced on us without any consultations even if they affected us. The service deteriorated from what we use to have from previous landlord. Pre-paid electricity was installed there we thought easy life to our surprise more hell, the electricity is so expensive I end up paying plus minus R2000.00 a month for buying electricity when I was used to pay maximum of R400 a month from previous metered electricity. while we were still adjusting to the expensive electricity they installed water meters oh that became my worst nightmare my bill was sky high when I complain about it I was told I waste water by the care taker just imagine old as I am being told that like a one year old at pre-school. After several interventions the problem was resolve in between the interventions electricity was cut off because I refused to pay those sky high bills of water. We are treated as beggars not tenants. The company employ *********** managers who does not have managing s****s and customer service. I have never seen inhuman people like this in my life you short R100 or less on your payment the prepared electricity is switched off without your knowledge not considering what is in the refrigerator on what damage can be cause to your electrical appliance. My electricity was switch off since 18/10/2019 without my knowledge all my food in the fridge is spoiled I bought groceries a day before they switch now image the fridge was still very full. Ithemba fails to follow procedures even if you are owing correct procedures should be followed u cannot be harassed or abused in that way even prisoners have rights. I have given them a notice 21 days they did not accept because they say I must serve 30 days according to their clause of contract I don't have. I have never sign a contract with them which contract are they referring to? I had it with Ithemba Property Management they just throw law jargons not considering its implications . They think tenants are illiterate and don't know their rights . I just need to leave their property whether they want it or like it ,I will leave their precious flat. When their were contacted by my lawyer yesterday 22/10/2019 asking them why their have switch off my electricity the care taker Haki said he is not aware even though he is the one who switched it off. The following day 23/10/2019 I found a letter stating that I have breached the lease I have not sign. On several meetings with management we were told that we are on a month to month basis those who did not renew the contract with them, that time it was in their favor to tell us that. Now when you exercise your rights your referred to your old contract which is no longer in use as when we say we were not paying for water and we did not have prepaid electricity we were told of new landlord and new contract. I cannot even refer my enemy to get property from Ithemba I am enough and just want out. As for my food that is spoiled I need because I threw everything in the bin. I have never seen heartless managers like this ones.
