Ithemba Property Trust West Park Pretoria

I stay at Westpark Estate pretoria. I was late with rental payment. PRIOR month paid in full. I was supposed to pay on the 1st and they came and switched off my electricity (prepaid) on the 4th without even giving me a notice and they said my rental account was in arrears. Is the landlord allowed to do this to us and why did i not get a letter to say my account was in arrears. Bad service from this place.
