I recently moved out of a unit managed by IThemba Property at ABSA Towers, and my experience was extremely disappointing. During the move-out process, the security guards who were assisting us were the only people present besides us. After noticing that some of my belongings were missing, I questioned the guards about it, but they denied any involvement.
This situation left me feeling unsafe and unsupported as a tenant. I expected professionalism and accountability from the building’s management and security team, but instead, I experienced the opposite.
I urge IThemba Property to improve their security protocols, ensure proper oversight, and take tenant concerns seriously. No one should have to worry about their personal belongings going missing during a move-out that is supposed to be secure.
