Highly unrecommendable
Carlton View is very dirty and very loud. People smoke in the corridors not caring for their non-smoking neighbors. Not forgetting the noise levels in this place. Both kids and adults nake noise.
I guess that's what we get for the price we pay.

We have noted your concerns regarding Carlton View.
We as Ithemba try our best to ensure that our buildings are a safe, clean and peaceful living environment. Our way to ensure all these standards are met is by having house rules as per our lease agreements with our valued tenants. We also have aid on site to assist when there is an issue that can be reported and dealt with as soon as it is raised.
Carlton View has securities that are always on site and happy to assist with any noise complaints as well as any grievances in relation to the behaviors of other tenants within the premises. Our building managers are also always on standby to assist with the comfort of your stay and their contact details should be on your Ithemba Resident App.
Kindly ensure that you reach out to any one of these available channels when facing an issue that has to do with the conduct of other tenants within the building such as smoking and noise pollution so that they are able to assist. If these issues are coming from outside of the Carlton View premises there is unfortunately only so much we can do as we can only reprimand those who are in our property that have either come through visitation or have a lease with us.
As advised kindly report these noise cases as well as the smokers in the corridors to the necessary channels provided so they may be penalized as per the lease agreement.
