I wish to report concerns regarding one of your agents, Eben Debbes, following discriminatory comments he has made publicly on a local Facebook group. I am submitting this anonymously for my own safety. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I found these remarks particularly troubling in the context of Cape Town’s ongoing housing crisis, where ************** can contribute to exclusion, housing insecurity, and increased vulnerability for affected individuals.

Such conduct is inconsistent with South African constitutional values. The Constitution expressly prohibits ************** on the basis of ***ual orientation, gender, and ***, and these protections are further reinforced in law. Public expressions of prejudice by a representative in a client-facing role raise serious concerns about professionalism, equality, and compliance with these standards. This environment often compels LGBTQ+ individuals to conceal their identities in order to access housing, which is neither acceptable nor sustainable. As a transgender person, I would be hesitant to engage with or support a company associated with views of this nature, and I am concerned about whether all clients would be treated fairly and without bias.
