Exorbitant utilities to cover up IThemba properties ****
I am a tenant at elevate apartments in new Doornfontein which is owned by iThemba properties and I must say that they market ting themselves as affordable and a home away from home is a blatant lie. They owe a huge debt to the municipality which has somehow let to us getting our electricity cutoff by city power when they feel like and the exorbitant prices we pay for utilities?? We are paying utilities of over R1400.00 for a two bedroom apartment which costs R4 999.00 and we are just students. Where is the promised affordability in this?
