Elevate Ithemba Property
This is literally the worse place ever. They don't care about their tenants and what they stand up for. Each month there's a water and electricity problem, and tenants are never even compensated for it instead they offer them mental health sessions. The only thing they are good at is to switch off your electricity when you have missed payment and make you pay money for rent payment arrangements. It's worse than covid living in a property owned by them !!!!!
It's affordable for students who are not using bursaries but at what cost, if not poor living conditions.

We are aware of the ******* disconnection that Jhb Water has done at Elevate. What we have done to rectify this situation is the following:
1. We have reconnected the building ourselves as of this morning
2. We have met with a group of tenants this morning at 10am and will do so again at 7pm tonight
3. Our CEO is personally at the building, sitting next to the water connection waiting for Jhb Water to come and reconnect
4. Our Utilities manager was at Jhb Water together with some of the tenants and the local Ward Councillor to understand why they continue with ******* disconnections
