DO NOT MOVE INTO BARLOW PARK

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT PIECE OF MIND. Firstly there is a whole informal settlement in the park which they did not disclose to us and the most awful part of is not one of those people have benefited a job from the shops at the centre and that is a fact and that is appalling there are more than 300 people living there and majority are young unemployed.

Secondly the the situation of the entrances is appalling we literally have to go around the entire building to get in and out the building, my 75 year old mother had to go up and down those ridiculous steps when i asked if she can be accommodated for the duration of her stay i was told no because its the rules

Thirdly we are treated like we live at a res and I am way too old to be living with so many ridiculous rules, I specifically asked before I moved in what the majority age group was but I was not told the truth

It is ridiculous how we pay so much money yet you can hear the toilet flush and water run next door,

The worst part is the schools playground is right in the centre of the building and I asked before I moved what the noise level is like as I work from home,I was told when you close your windows there no noise which is a lie, I was then told I can use the co working space but there's no internet connection there so what is the point? You guys sold us a dream honestly

My initial rent is R8k and that is what i budgeted but I now end up paying R9,6k a month that's absolutely madness

Again our guests don't have parking they have to pay hourly parking what sense does that make?

Every weekend 4 or more people are moving because of such issues and you guys don't take us seriously when we complain, we need to have a meeting where you call all of us in a common area and ALL issues are laid down because as it stands already people have been speaking of striking which will definitely not be a good look for you guys

You over charge us for cheap quality living you honestly need to review your prices because the apartments will stay empty

I have asked to move to an apartment that is not facing the school because I cannot handle the noise,I was told I have to cancel my current lease then reapply and if I qualify I will then be able to move HOW RIDICULOUS for heaven sakes I LIVE IN THE BUILDING I just want to move to a more appropriate unit

I must commend Ayanda though she is an absolute star that was the only positive experience when it comes to Barlow park

And why do you still print out statements instead of emailing them what a waste of payer honestly
