Discrepancy in Hot/Cold Water Charges
One thing about Ithemba Properties [Hofaman New Yorker] is they will rip you off when it comes to hot/cold water reading. The fact that you will never see them or get a notification that they are coming to do the reading raises one's brows.
I have been a tenant at Ithemba now since 2023 and every winter hot water reading are ridiculous. Month of March my rent was R4373.35 and in April it was due for an increase I paid R4661.24 month of May R4661.24 now its June and its R5042.40 my question is for the past 5 months my rent was consistent including the water reading but now suddenly out of the blue you are expected to pay R5000. Every tenant I came across cry about the same thing some even go to an extent of vacating to find greener pasture in other buildings
