Car Damage from building leakage
This is the email i sent to Ithemba properties on 11 March, and i have not heard any response from from.
''Good day,
First of all, I am very disgusted how my query has been handled by your employees, I am being given a run around like a headless chicken and it's annoying.
As you mentioned below that an investigation was conducted, I need the investigation report so that i can see the details of this report and how you came to your conclusion. And for you to get to the conclusion that the liquid from the roof didn't damage my car, when was the liquid tested? which lab did the test? I need the lab report as well.
Furthermore, on 8 March i was told that my query was escalated to the portfolio manager, yesterday i met with the portfolio manager and was clueless about my query, meaning that she never knew about it, i was just **** to so i could just go away.
I was also told that at the ba*****t we park at our own risk, which risk is the tenant liable for? as the tenant is it my duty to fix a leaking ba*****t? I need answers.
You must prove to me beyond reasonable doubt that the leakage was my fault as the tenant, if there is a clause that says a tenant is liable for building damage, please present it to me.
I have said from the beginning that I will be available for my car to be inspected but nobody came to, I am the one who must run after you and I find that very unprofessional and condescending.
I want answers today.

I have been given run arounds and have not had any form of response, a week ago it rained again and my car got damaged again, Ethethus had never made an effort to contact me to sort this out or atleast provide feedback. Ima very disgusted with their service, how is a ba*****t leak my problem as a tenant? i have asked a lot of questions but no answers have been given.
Good day,I am Bongiwe Mabila, staying at flat number 115.I moved in here with my sister **** Mabila in November 2020, and have a vehicle reg number HJ00KKGP. when we moved in I immediately app**** for parking and was given parking bay number EHP034. A few days later it started raining and the ba*****t was leaking a white substance, I immediately asked Trevor that my parking be changed since this white liquid was leaking from the roof, which dragged for two weeks to be sorted, at this point i didn't know that this liquid was acidic and would damage my car the way it did. two weeks later i was given new parking and i moved my vehicle. Fast forward, last weekend I took my car for glazing since car washes failed remove the white stains, I was then told that the white substance is acidic, my paint is damaged and the whole roof would need to be repainted. With that being said, I am therefore requesting that your company pays for the roof repainting as this could've been avoided if Ithemba Properties made sure that the ba*****t doesn't leak, and that i was not supposed to be given that specific parking bay since it is known that it leaks and it damages cars.I have attached a photo of what the damage looks like for your review, and I am available as well if you would need to see the car.
