Beware of the Ithemba staff and agents

I have never come across such unprofessionalism in my life. I served my notice Monday and was given. Notice Schedule which is written that they will deduct utilities for the first month when I moved in, R75 for fumigation which was not initially there in the lease and R299 for cleaning. Now my issue is when I was looking for a place I was told 1st month rent free which included their utilities. The agent and the guy from the office who called me said and I quote “see with us we cover the utilities for the first month, you don’t have to stress”. Now they deduct when you leave what a joke no more special.

2. Who gave them the right to include R75 for fumigation as it was not initially in the contract? When did they make that communication?

3. When I moved here it was cement, dust etc you name it especially with their floor being without any covering. I have photos of the cleaning we did here post construction no cleaner assisted now I will have to pay R299 if I don’t clean? Yet I moved into a health hazard.

Please be careful when you get into a contract with Ithemba, they will sell you heaven and earth. I don’t even want to get into their service as a tenant. I gave up complaining they just don’t care.
