The Diamond Jewel city is the worst place a human being could live in! We have power outage every month for more than 48 hours. Got stuck inside an elevator yesterday for more than an hour and they said there’s nothing they can do as they switched off the generator! This place is HELL, can’t wait to move out. The Building Manager is one vile human being who hardly assists with anything. Whatever you do, don’t move in to The Diamond Jewel City owned by iThemba!! It’s the WORST!! It’s HORRIBLE!

Apologies for the experience of being stuck in the elevator.
Please be advised that during that time our generator had temporarily shut down. This normally happens when it has been running for a long duration of time. When these instances occur we then have to manually bring the generator back up or wait for it to come back up automatically.
During the manual booting of the generator we had ran into some issues and that is what took a little longer than anticipated.
With regards to the power coming back up we are awaiting City Power to complete Restoration of the sub-station the restoration reference number from City is : CP***
