Bad customer service

I am a tenant at Jhb cbd, and l payed my rental late.As much as l know it's a breach of contract, l didn't deserve to be locked out of my flat.Jhb is known for ****ings, what if l was ****ed on the streets? Is it lawful to lock a tenant outside? Doesn't ithemba have even a debtors dpt to perhaps look into late payments?As a tenant l also have rights. Ithemba must learn how to deal with such issues according to law.Eviction has to done according to law not in such a manner cz tenant can also strike back lawfully.
