Absurd penalties

I begin staying here in July and signed a 12 months lease ,which at that point I didn’t think it was a problem because I was not planning on moving. Fast forward to now, I need to move because I’m relocating and when I tell them of my early termination they inform me that I won’t be receiving my deposit which is absurd.I wouldn’t mind if they said they are taking 20% of the deposit but all of it in the name of it being a penalty for me moving.On top of that I never even mentioned how unprofessional some of the staff can be within the premises.Overall I would never I mean never stay in any building that ITHEMBA owns thanks to them.
