In tears

I went to ithala bank in umlazi mega city with my grandmother an elderly lady (98 years old). I tried assisting her in withdrawing her funds and was told system is offline and i needed to go to the branch in umngeni as that’s the branch we oftenly use to sort out an issue with her account. I asked if we won’t arrive there when they’ve closed? The answer was no. I had to use public transport together with my elderly gran and niece with the last funds we had because we had trust in the money we would get. Upon arrival around 11:03, i spoke to the guard and he wouldn’t give me time to explain. I then called inside the branch and they immediately dismissed me, the gentleman over the phone told me straight that i am lying. Now i had to beg by passers to give us money so that we can be able to get transportation going home. As i type this review i am in tears of the lack of ethical service from this bank which mostly caters for the very same elderly people. If people can’t work with elders or fellow people why are they occupying such jobs??????)
