Never do business with ITEC!!

I wanted to rent a copier. After the Bloemfontein branch manager himself assured me and the contract clearly stated that it was a RENTAL agreement, they went and leased a copier IN MY NAME over 5 years through a company called CentraFin and then rented it to me. Nowhere on the contract was the word LEASE mentioned. Only in the fine print which I was in too much of a hurry to read when they brought the contract to sign, its mentioned that you cannot terminate the rental agreement before the 60 months had lapsed. After a year when I closed my business and tried to give one month's notice, I was informed that I can't give notice and I have to pay rent for another 48 months or pay R22 000 before I can buy myself out of it and thereafter the machine will be collected. This means I would have paid a total of R26000 for a copier that I used for 1 year and then not even own it. I tried everything to get them to let me out of it, without success. Please don't fall into the same trap! Just don't do business with them EVER!!
