Isuzu Truck Centre
Less than impressed with Isuzu. First time customer that took my old Isuzu in. Asked for an aircon re-gas to go with the service. Was told it cost 900 or so, but that they check for leaks etc first. Got the car back, aircon worked fantastic. Apparently no leaks. A week later when I used the bakkie to go up country the aircon was absolutely non-existent. Asked them to please check again and was then told that there is a technical issue with some other part of the system etc. etc. etc. and it will now cost 8k to fix the part that they did not check. Phoned the manager, same story, it's technical etc. Bottom line is this: I spend 900 bucks at the experts and took an aircon that works albeit not that well. Now, two weeks later, I am stuck without any aircon and without the 900 bucks. So I paid to have the thing properly broken. Sheesh, disappointing.
Bottom line is this: I took car in with functioning aircon, paid to have it re-gassed, got it back and in a couple of days it was not working at all. This after I was assured that there were no leaks on the system (only after the fact was I told that oh no the system is actually a bigger system and it is the other part we did not check etc...). Now I am out of pocket and I have zero aircon. It simply does not work like that. Anyway, it is is what it is and I leave it at that. Hopefully they learn from this and they wont see my return business.
