Very Unhappy Customer

I bought a set of airpods as a gift for my daughter on the Tuesday. On the Wednesday I gave them to her and when she connected to them, the one airpod made a static noise and over the next 30 mins faded to about half the volume of the other airpod. On the Thursday morning I took them back to the Centurion iStore. They booked them in as a "repair" and said it would take up to 5 business days to test and possibly replace the one airpod.

So, let me get this straight. You took my money in exchange for a product that was not working when we took it out of the packaging; not a week or month later, it did not work from word 'go'. I returned the product less than 48 hours after buying it, and now I have to wait 5 days for you to fix it. Surely you should just replace it and get it fixed on your time?
