Uninformed Stuff, Bad service

Today as I was browsing for iStore deals on iPhones,I came across an ad that said iPhone 6s Plus for R419.00 which seemed a bit crazy, unbelievable and very exciting for me actually, since I'm due for an upgrade on my contract, I quickly took my phone and called this number ********** at 15H01 which was suppose to go to iStore Menlyn but for some reason it took my too a contact center where a gentleman whose name I didn't catch answered my call. Now I explained to him what I saw on the iStore website and if it's true, he then confirmed that yes it is true and told me that it's a telkom promotion that I saw...said unfortunately he cannot upgrade for me and that I had to go to my nearest iStore with my proof of address and my ID, which I did very quickly cause I really wanted that iPhone 6s Plus only to my surprise I find out when I get there that such a deal or promotion doesn't exist. It's actually a phone that you have to buy with your iStore card. It is really pathetic that a Marchant such as iStore has people that are either not informed about their products or they just don't want to be there or maybe they don't even receive proper training of their products.

I wasted my airtime making an enquirery that didn't help me with anything, secondly I drove all the way to the mall only to waste petrol because of an ad I didn't understand as a client, what is the point of making a call to get clarity only to be misled even more by someone who sounded like they were not even interested in helping or even being on the other side of the phone. iStore needs to decide if you guys are running a business or a ****a shop
