Unhappy with service received - iStore Sandton City

<p>Good day</p> <p>Firstly I am an avid Apple customer and I have had a very good experience until now. I own an iPod, iPad and have owned a couple of iPhones inlcuding my current hand set. I believe that Apple has the best product offering, however the service I received, is now going to cost me additioanl money!</p> <p>I have in the last few months decided to purchase an Apple Macbook Air and sought to compare the various contract options. Once I had decided that the iStore Telkom offer was the most suitable I proceeded to conclude at which point I was told that there wasn't any stock available. They sales assistants took down my details and I was put on a list to receive the deal as soon as stock was available but I was never contacted. I again went to store about 2 weeks later after my initial order and was told that still no stock, when there is stock, iStore will be in contact. Till this day, I have not been contacted. In between I logged a call with the Apple call centre but I was still never contacted.</p> <p>Since then I have learned that stock is available but I have still never been contacted for my order. My gripe with the entire situation is that the contract has now risen from R729p/m to R959p/m during the delay with iStore not contating me. I must now pay an additional 32%p/m. Had iStore contacted me as promised as soon as stock became available, I would not have to incur and additional 32% monthly.</p> <p>In summary:</p> <p>1) iStore never once contacted me despite my in store repeated follow ups. To this day, I have not been contacted by Apple even though they do have stock available.</p> <p>2) Apple call centre failed to put me in touch with iStore after I logged a call.</p> <p>3) Due to the delay and never having being contacted, the iStore Telkom contract has now risen from R729 to R959. This will now cost me an additional 32% a month.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is not service that we have all come to expect from a leading glabal brand such as Apple!</p>
