Unable to contact any iStore by telephone

I have been wanting to get an iphone contract on the new iphone but didn't want to go all the way to a store only to be told the phones were out of stock. A simple task of trying to contact the iStore in Centurion turned into the most frustrating experience. Every store across the country has the same contact number - ONE THAT DOESNT WORK. You go through the menu options and choose the store. All is does is ring and then cuts off. I tried every option hoping to get through to at least someone. After 20 minutes of trying I have given up. Most frustrating. Why not just give each store their own unique number that works.
