Terrible Service from staff members, even worse service/attitude from store manager

<p>We wa nted to purchase an Ipad for my daughter. We ask the staff member what the payment options were. We decided on the EFT option which the staff member went to the manager to confirm.</p> <p> </p> <p>We did an immediate clearance payment yesterday and went with the proof of payment slip to the Clearwater store where we were told that we now have to forward the proof of payment to an e-mail address and then a confirmation will be sent to us. Only then we could collect the Ipad.</p> <p> </p> <p>What annoyed me was that the staff member went to ask the manager as to the payment options and he also enquired about the EFT option. </p> <p>So firstly......why is your staff not aware of all the processes so that they can pass on the correct information to the customer.</p> <p>Secondly.....the staff member asked the manager.....why didnt the manager then tell us the process instead of letting us firstly doing an immediate clearance and coming all the way to come collect and then be turned away.</p> <p>The manager didnt seem apologetic at all......i told her what i thought and she just looked at me with this "whatever" expression on her face and when I was done she just said "sorry".......like "see the worry in my eye"</p> <p>I am highly annoyed at the service received and the unnecessary cost of driving up and down and paying for immediate clearance for something I could have then rather paid cash for to elliminate this entire holdup.</p> <p>Another thing is that my daughter wanted a rose gold Ipad and they never had one but no effort was made to try and get us the preferred unit. I guess the days of going the extra mile no longer exsists.</p> <p>I hope this this will not be overlooked but addressed accordingly as this type of service is shocking.</p> <p>And as for your callcentre.....oh my word.....you cant get through to anybody, let alone the actual store....absolutely disgusting!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
