Takes my previous phone without payment

I upgraded my contract and traded in my iPhone 14 Pro last Thursday. I was told my cashback would be paid within 72 hours which would have been yesterday. I still have not been paid for that phone nor is the money pending in my account. I would consider this theft. Pay me. You’ve taken my old phone. You need to pay for it?
