Shocked and Disappointed by the way thing are being dealt with. Never will i recommend their products again.

My iphone 7 that was in a mint condition, no scratches not cracks , came in contact with water on the 28th of Jan, after it got wet I still managed to take photos and carried on with my normal actions,

My battery was low and we were at a game park therefore could not charge my phone, once I got home I put my pone on charge however it never came on again,

I have explained it so nicely to the istore and told them that my phone is not even a year old (still on contract) in a mint conditions no cracks nothing. One reason I decided to upgrade to the iphone 7 was because its now water resistant, (same as Samsung. After it was sent away to Corp Group for repairs by ISTORE I get a quote for +-R5500 to were I rep**** and asked to be contacted as this is not right, till today no one has called me , and upon sending them a mail I got a response saying my phone has liquid damage please see quote attached, I mean I took the time to type a email explaining exactly what the problem was and that im not happy with this reply I mean the phone should still work as its water resistant for up to 1m and no more than 30 min at a time, which it never exceeded ,

I want my phone repaired that’s it as easy as that , as its less than a year and I got a reject one as the packaging also states its water resistant , yes if it was cracked or something I would understand however I looked after my phone, this is not right,

If I don’t get feedback I will be forced to contact the ombudsman or ICASA as this is poor service , I mean that phone cost me a lot of money just to get such stupid response from them,
