Service from HELL

Yesterday around 17:30 05/08/22 I was at the Menlyn park mall istore shop with my mother, there where 2 doors one on the left and the other on the right.

We entered the one on the right while looking we were greeted by a young male who assisted me with great respect and humanity. He explained everything I needed and only to find out that they only take cash according to my understanding, he said if I want to open a contract I should go to the next door with was on the left.

What a hell of service we got. As we walked in the was this young man staying by a door folding his arms at the back holding a black phone. We asked for assistance I told him what I was looking 2 ladies were sitting one on the left was helping white people and the one on the right was sitting with no one busy on her white old iPhone 8+. not noticing that the same MacBook is there by the corner which was noticed by my mother before that I asked him to come and see what I’m looking for next door he refused and said he is not supposed to leave, then my mother spotted it, we went with him showed him explained to him, asked for assistance. He said we should wait he will ask someone who will help us, he came back again and said his manager says there’s someone coming to help us.

While waiting another man come to us he asked if we have been helped, I answered that the young man say we should wait someone is coming to help us. He said to us to go that lady referring to the one that is sitting when we entered.

I went to her she had natural hair and a bun, the attitude from the get go, she was so unfriendly and uninteresting as if we were here to bother her. I told her exactly what I was looking for and wanting to open a contract, she asked me which network I said Vodacom but we can try with other networks I don’t mind.

She said we must follow her and started pressing the laptop, there were like different prices she showed me the screen I couldn’t even understand what is she showing me and then I had to ask her about the prices, she said they differ according to data and told me with an attitude.

I said to her I have wifi I will take the 1st option we can start with the contract. That was before 18:00 maybe around 17:50, she said that unfortunately at this time they don’t do contracts ( the other lady was still helping the white people with paper work assuming they were doing the contract) she said to me come back tomorrow with proof of address, ID I’m not sure if she mentioned payslips (I had all those things In my bag) I left the shop. Few minutes later when I was passing by the shop she was standing and chatting with the 1st man we met when we came in.
