Service at Apple Store Eastgate

I have a iPhone 6 that had a problem I went to the Apple Store in EastGate and they basically told me they can't help me I must get a new phone. I went to china town and the man looked at my phone and said it's a simple thing as changing the SIM card my phone works perfect and took the guy 2 mins. Apple service in store is absolutely shocking makes you want to not even have apple products. I nearly threw a brand new phone away for nothing
