Ripped apart at ISTORE SANDTON

I feel ashamed to say in this day and age a company such as istore relegated a single black mom to another store due to false advertising or perhaps because my balance was not big enough. I went to the istore in Sandton on 26th Nov 2022 to buy an iPad 10.2 inch 9th generation 64G for my daughter who needed it for college. She saved the whole year to purchase this product on black Friday. The advertising indicated the prices valid from 25 -27 Nov 2022. She also wanted to get her license I offered to take a contract with the store in partnership with Vodacom. We completed the application with a consultant Karabo who advised she will call us by the 27th. She was awaiting a reply from Vodacom. She didn't inform me that offer was only valid until the 26th November 2022 or I would have given my daughter the gift and bought the iPad. On Sunday I went back to the store since the consultant didn't call only to be informed after a long wait that the contract was only approved with conditions. I decided to buy the device cash. Only to be informed the the price had changed increased from R5999 to R7200 which I had to pay or the manager of the store apparently advised his consultant to tell me to go to Incredible Connection and purchase the same product for R6500. This was a slap in the face for me and istore I think if their own staff are referring customers to competitors because istore is ripping the public off by creating a demand and supplying at a different price. This constitutes false advertising I believe or are little black women with limited bank balances not good enough to shop at istore. Quite frankly I am refuse to accept this slap in the face by a big company. I demand retribution in one way or another. My girls need to know that we are not like animals in Aminal Farm some more equal than others. Please assist to empower the financially awkward individual who are trying to improve circumstances for the next generation.
