Refunds at snail’s pace

Great staff/ customer service. Awesome products.

The blanked out star is for after service refunds. I recently intercepted a costly product from pre-owned.

So, no cancellation or collection process. Yet the physical refund process of transferring the amount into my account is ten to 14 working days. Isn’t this a bit ridiculous? Why when purchasing goods, does it take seconds to pay between banks but so long to refund?

Consider Takealot whose refunds take less than one week INCLUDING collection.

We who back in SA know that the only two banks whose transactions are slow, Ned and STD, but slow in this case is max three days.

Is your bank abroad? Help me understand. No standard response please.
