PowerBeats 2 - Stay Clear

<p>Purchased a set of PowerBeats 2 for R3299 in December 2015. At almost a year old, it stopped charging / turning on. Keep in mind that the product has a 1 year warranty. I took to istore in Eastgate and they were sent away and subsequently replacement. Now 4 months later and having barely used them, they are broken again with the same issue. The response is a 3 month warranty on the maintenence or replacement. It is clear the product is still brand new and hardly used but they now want to charge R2500 to fix what they clearly couldnt fix the first time. Totally irratated. One thinks that purchasing a expensive product from Apple is a good idea but clearly a waste of money. Rather by cheap and replace when broken. Disgusted and totally put off Apple and the istore at present. Entire family use apple product but starting to doubt the loyalty and further purchases. </p>
