Poor after sales service from iStore

I took my Apple Watch to @ iStore as it just stopped working. It was sent for a quote.I received a mail tester quoting me R 4818.20 for a repair. This Watch was bought July 2017.A new series 1 Watch costs R 4699! The Watch has not been in contact with water,hasn’t been dropped or damaged in any way.It simply stopped working spontaneously. I fail to understand that such an expensive Watch should stop working after a year and I am expected to pay the cost of a new one to have it replaced. Shocking service @iStore!
