Online contract application

I sent in my online application included all my details and I was promised a reply in 3/4 days. Its been an entire 2 weeks. No one is even following up with me. I've got to chase them up and with no reply!!! So unprofessional. I don't know what to do anymore. It is so annoying. Why have online applications if you are not going to pay any attention to them??!
