No information has led to additional costs

I took out a contract for an iPhone 13 Pro Max and a series 7 watch at the iStore in Sandton in September 2022 and a few days/ weeks later the iPhone 14 and a series 8 watch were made available for purchase at the same rate if not a few rands more than what I purchased the one for. I feel if the consultant who helped me was able to give me proper advice I would have instead app**** for the updated version instead of having to take out a second contract and paying for 2 phones and 2 watches which is a cost I wasn't planning on taking on now. Nonetheless it happened and we are here now. I was also offered an iCare voucher upon purchasing the phone and was told I needed to do the registration while in store which was not a success, the consultant who was helping me said he would try to do it for me and I then left the store. I called the call centre and sent an email (to the consultant's direct email address and the istore customer care address) to complain as I was still experiencing the same issue with registration. The registration was never completed and now I went to the iStore as the iPhone 13 screen is badly damaged back and front and the iWatch and was told I would have to pay a ridiculous amount to get them fixed. I'm totally disappointed at the misinformation or rather no information that the consultants give the clients in a quest to close sales and possibly gain commission.
