NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL AT APPLE STORE -Westville

<p>Last week my device came incontact with water whilst sitting on the sid eof a pool and i didnt forsee a problem at the unit is water resistant , i noticed a few minutes later that the navigation button became stiff and almost imposible to utilise.</p> <p>The problems got worse and the unit became blank , i then immediately took the unit to I-Store in Pavallion and they said they will send it for further assessment. </p> <p> </p> <p>It took them the whole week and repeated phone calls enquiring about the status of the matter for them to be able to locate the devise and advise on the damage. </p> <p> </p> <p>I was then told today that the phone was found to have water damage and to my suprise this is thee I-Phone 7 that has to be water resistant. I did say that the phone was splased with water at the sid eof the pool and that was it as i cant swim to save my life.</p> <p> </p> <p>I therefore conatcted them back and expressed my dissatisfication on the whole watre damage issue that they tol dme about when the devise it supposed to be resistant . I was then refered to some 0800 number and the person that i spoke to insisted that i left the phone in the water for it to have such water inside of which i found very insulting .</p> <p>I tol dthe guy that im not happy with what he was saying and i need some logical answers because then from where i am i feel like the devise was not sealed enought or was of poor qusality and as a result i cant afford the R6 000 that they have quoted me especially when i havent done anything wrong and have been acussed which i feel is undue.</p> <p> </p> <p>I cant be arguing this with apple , the devise has water damage and if they cant fix it for me then i request replacement.</p> <p>Lastly i do not want anyone ever calling me again to make accusations instead of finding solutions to the problerm that we have at hand .</p> <p>Im grown enought to know what cannot be done with a cell phone and i have had many aple devices before with i have never has such issues with as i knew that phones and water do not mix.</p> <p>On this phone specificly i think they should replace my handset because they are the ones that told us about water resistant and therefore our guard will obviously let loose knowing that you covered.</p> <p> Can i get urgent feedback on this issue as i need my phone urgently and cannot carry on without it indefinately.</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards</p> <p>Bongisipho</p> <p> </p>
