Misleading 'Sale' offerings

<p>I have found that the iStore appears to mislead the public by promoting this huge sale that is currently running. I have been to the store on day one of the sale with the intention of purchasing the MarshallStanmore speaker that was advertised for R2,999 however when I got to Clear Water I was told that one of the staff members had purchased the last one just before I walked in the door and that they had no more stock. I ask if they could check with other stores and let me know if anyone had stock or when they would get new stock. I was told that a store in Pretoria had 1 unit left so I asked if they could have it sent to Clear water fo me and I was told that they would check and get back to me. The sales consultant that assisted me called back 2 days later to tell me that on sale items they are not allowed to move stock between stores - If he had told me this sooner then I would have made a plan to go to Pretoria! I then asked him if he could call the branch to make sure that they still have it and book it for me so that I do not drive 100Km to get there and find that it had been sold just before I walked in the door again. I was again told that unfortunately on sale items this cannot be done. I understand that sale items are limited and as your advertising says, limited while stocks last but it would appear to me that you actually limite the stock so you should rather advertise as 'Limited stock' & not 'Limited while stocks last'. From the impression that I get and from being in the store on the first day of the sale, the real deals are very limited just to make it attractive so that you can get feet in the shops so that people will still end up buying something else - Ther is endless stock on the smaller and cheaper items such as watch straps but the bigger ones are apparently 'All Sold Out'. I am not a happy customer and think that you are deceiving the public with this so called sale!</p>
