Manager **** to push stock on old watches

So in August, I was looking to buy an Apple Watch. My wife and I went into the Apple store, while there we met and spoke to the manager about me being in the market for a new Watch, since it was close to the special event we asked a store him if there was, a new Apple Watch been released. He told us there were no news on an new watch wich meant there wasn’t a new one. So I went ahead and bought the series 2 Watch a month before finding out that there was in fact a new Watch coming out. Then Today, the Istore has the nerve to send me an email saying the watch I got just over a month ago is over a thousand rand cheaper and new Watch will be in the country within two weeks.

My wife and I are adaimabt apple customers and it’s very disappointed and cheated due this incident. What kind of customer service has people lying to customers?
