MacBook motherboard replaced after 4 months

I bought a new MacBook Pro from the iStore V&A end of August 2017. Early in December I started getting a blank screen issue, and took it into DigiCape, as I've had problems with iStore before. DigiCape could get my machine back to life, but 3 days later the same issue occurred, and I was informed that I needed my motherboard replaced. I went to the iStore, and was told they need to book in the machine, 5-7 working days, which might be affected by the public holidays. I decided to take it to DigiCape, as they have a service center on site. The person at iStore said there's not much they can do as they are NOT Apple, but only a reseller. I then contacted ********** and Caanita informed me that I should rather bring it to the iStore and they can try to find me a loan computer. I'm a developer and need my computer. Three days later, with a delay in correspondence as I don't have a telephone number to contact them, and I was just informed that they won't be able to get me a loan computer... which means I will have to book my machine in... and if I just left it with DigiCape, it would most probably have been fixed already. Like I mentioned before, I've had bad service from iStore before, but because I needed a new computer, I bought a machine from them. Now I sit with a broken machine and people telling me: "We are not Apple, just resellers". ???

I was just contacted by some "Regional Manager" for iStore Western Cape. COMPLETELY useless, and not helpful at all. Spoke with Alex Dupper **********
