Macbook damaged and overcharged when reapired

I sent in my macbook for the battery to be repaired. It was returned with scratches and a skew mis-threaded *****. I was also overcharged. I raised the 3 complaints with a Core service representative and was told "the unit went into a quality control before the unit was shipped back to the store, to ensure that everything is fine if the ***** was not put in correctly quality control would have failed." None of the other concerns were addressed, I was merely dismissed.

I got a courtesy call from the iStore this morning asking about the repair, I shared my concerns and my conversation with the Core representative and they asked me to bring the device and the invoices in and they would sort it all out. - Here's to hoping it's all resolved quickly and satisfactorily.

iStore resolved the problems for me, but it did mean more waiting in queues and more days without my mac. The repair was very expensive and I expect better. Core was the main culprit, not doing the repair properly, and not handing the complaint properly while iStore did their best to sort it out and ultimately did.
