MacBook Air 13" Screen Problems

<p>I purchased a macbook air 13" 24 months ago.</p> <p>Recently the screen has a 3 inch vertical strip running down the entire screen where the display is not functioning - looks like a black strip where the display does not show anything on this section of the screen.</p> <p> </p> <p>I take care of this MacBook like its gold, for R14 000 you would do the same.</p> <p>Once I took this into Istore Eastgate the reply was a quote of R10 000 to fix the screen - which I - by the way did not damage at all - this is a hardware failure on Apples part.</p> <p>After taking such good care of this ridiculously expensive computer only to be told that I need to pay R10 00 for a failure of Apples hardware is a very disgruntling experience.</p> <p> </p> <p>To say the least I have completely gone off apple products (it is cheap outdated hardware for a premium just because it looks nice) and will rather migrate to Google Chromebook.</p> <p> </p> <p>As a now EX-APPLE customer, the least apple (a 3 trillion DOLLAR company) could have done is repaired their faulty hardware to keep a customer satisfied.</p> <p> </p> <p>I sincerely hope this complaint will shed some light on others condsidering wasting their money on an apple product.</p>
