iStore - tiring and tedious
Making the switch from Android to Apple was one over which I was extremely excited, however, not only did my brand new iPhone 12 Pro (bought from the iStore itself) crash and become non-functional only 3 weeks after set-up; my experience with the iStore tech support and repairs collection process has been tiring and tedious. It has taken the lengthiest of email threads over a span of around 10 days to firstly obtain assistance to remotely disable Find My iPhone (which is compulsory for the repairs process) and secondly to actually arrange with the courier company to collect my device. Only upon resorting to complaining about the lack of efficient service I received an email stating that the collection matter has been escalated to the courier's management and only thereafter was I swiftly phoned to eventually set a collection time. Now it has been said that after collection, an estimate of 10 working days will be required for the reparation (or hopefully replacement) process of my BRAND new, extremely hyped up, yet now entirely non-functional, factory dud phone. #shouldhavestayedwithAndroid
