iStore South Africa NOT providing a service and NOT repairing phones!

iStore South Africa is beyond pathetic.

Last year, I bought an iPhone 6+ from the iStore which had multiple problems and was CONTINULOUSY replaced under warranty. If I am not mistaken, I went through 7-9 iPhones in a period of a month and a half. Finally I, got one that they gave me, which worked fine...until last week.

I went to iStore (Cavendish Square) and they needed to take the phone in on the 11th of July. They needed to take it in because their super experienced TECHNICIANS could see there was a fault.

I received an email this week saying that they couldn't find a fault (Service centre) and they asked if they could ship my unit back. Obviously, I asked if they are SURE. They said yes, it works fine and off they shipped it (7km around the corner) and called me in this morning to come and pick it up.

Sigh. I turned the phone on and the problem was STILL there.

There was no manager but only an assisting manager at iStore (Cavendish Square), Ashley, who unfortunately provides everything but customer service.

This has become UNACCEPTABLE and iStore SELLS OLD BROKEN UNITS to their customers. Their customer service is BEYOND disgusting and they really really really don't care at all about their customers. ESPECIALLY those customers who have remained loyal and stayed EVEN though they go through 9 iPhones in 10 months. For those who continulousy suggest I change from iPhone, I am slowly starting to accept that this is something I should just resolve to. HOWEVER, when one pays THOUSANDS of Rands for a well known product, ONE EXPECTS to receive the product which WORKS.

It is honestly time for iStore to stand up and actually just sort it out. It is time for them to compensate. Does iStore REALLY care? Am I just trying to fight in a battle with a HUGE company who doesn't care about one South African customer, where I will just be treated like nothing?
