A third world company marketing a first world product! As an elderly retired individual, I decided to use the IStore’s online platform, which would save me a trip to the local shop. What a disaster. I app**** to upgrade my MTN contract for the latest iPhone. Every time I follow up I am advised they have large volumes of client queries, even once been told that the consultant was dealing with multiple people at the same time, and that I must have patience. Today I waited for at least 10 minutes for a consultant, only to have the same excuse given to me. I app**** for this upgrade at least 10 days ago, no feedback, to be told today the same excuse that I was given a week ago, it’s in the queue and I must be patient, as there is a high demand for this device. Also told today that it’s out of stock.

I have come to the conclusion that Istore South Africa is hugely understaffed, has no communication with its customers and is unable to plan for stock availability.

I am seriously considering moving away from this company and product.
