IStore Rip-off

In May this year I sent a Mac Book for repairs and the quote was R11132.30 and I rejected the quote merely because I needed to save in order to send it again. I know there are price increases and I know that quotations expire and I also know that various things are taken into consideration and obviously the price will increase. Now the quotation is R16836.70.

I find this quite somewhat unfair/deceptive practice. Are they meaning to tell me that their quotation has increased with R5642+- in a span of 5 months. Are they trying to tell me that:” ********** 9 LOGIC BOARD, ETSI, 1.1GHZ, 256 GB “increased so drastically in a small space of time. A similar brand new Mac Has not even increased by that much in 5 months.

Is this part all of a sudden made of titanium? This is ludicrous. They are giving me a patronizing excuse that that’s why quotation expire in 7days and that parts prices can in crease without notice and the exchange rate of the USD/Rand. Which I am aware of. A 5k increase in 5 months is a *******. Money is not a problem, it’s the principle app****.
