Got to the store at iphone Menlyn Park after rushing and driving for more than an hour to get there at 07:20 and only to be told that they are closing soon so I won’t be able to be assisted. I bet if I was there to bring in a sale they would have assisted me. I wanted to update to the latest IOS but I was having challenges at home in order to do so hence I decided to go visit the store so that someone can atleast give me some advice or help. The technician didn’t even hesitate and told me straight up that he won’t be able to help because they are closing at 08:00 pm. Now I’m stuck with a phone that is giving challenges yet there are stores that won’t help with service but should I have went there for a sale I’m sure I would have walked out with the item iregardless of what time it is. The store should really start considering the customer journey before turning the client away with a solution. The only thing he told is that I should come back tomorrow so that he can wipe my whole device and I will lose the whole data that I have in order for him to help me with updating to the latest IOS.
